February Rifle Training

Three members of the CIF braved the cold this winter to sharpen their shooting skills. Trooper A.J. Gilbert, Trooper Delannoy and Staff Sgt. Stanick practiced “running, advance, and shoot”, “prone shooting”, and “shooting from cover” using SKS carbines. Members find that the SKS’s are cheap to fire and light to carry. They stand up well in all weather conditions and fit saddle scabbards well. These carbines are used in training only and this day, the CIF were using the Brandon Wildlife Gun Club Range located outside of Brandon Manitoba.
